Market Day in Apt
On to Cucuron for lunch at l'etang
The vineyards of Chateau la Canorgue in Bonnieux
Views from the hilltop village of Bonnieux
Dinner at Au Fils du Temps in Pernes les Fontaines
We had a reservation at this restaurant in 2018, but after walking in circles for over an hour, we gave up trying to find it. GPS just couldn't do it. So on our way home on Friday we stopped in Pernes, determined to find this place, and with the help of a friendly resident, we did.
So on the next night, Saturday, we were treated to a fixed menu feast of 7 courses. Without exaggeration, I think we consumed over 100 different ingredients; quite a step up from the hamburger with raw onion on a bun, and tater tots that we had at home last Saturday night!
There are three little fishes in this one!
Filet of beef
A cheese course that I forgot to photograph.
Apricots galore
Cookies galore

What a feast of a day in so many ways! I'd be intrigued by the dish with foam.
The markets were always fun, the street musicians were impressive too.
